Google now a registered ICANN registrar!

Looking to register that cool new domain name? As noted by Bret Fausett, you'll soon be able to do it through Google. Scroll to #895. A bit frightening isn't it? Interestingly, ICANN has left 891-894 and 896-900 unassigned. Google gets 10 slots?

Google is a well known search engine, but i do not understand why google has started to beat their adversizers and customers?

seems we will have an internet services war..

me personaly i will look for a news search engine that does not not offer what biz want to offer.

google wants to dominate all the internet sectors starting from search engine, to blogging to web hosting (datacenter in the moon) and now domain name.

i just hope they wont offer free domain name as it will kill small domain name registrars.
